hello~ we have acquired a laser printer HP LaserJet 1007 at my school, with the toner cartridge almost empty. i am new to a laser printer, so could anyone tell me, is it possible to refill the cartridge, and just how? this is a great website, thank you for the bunch of geniuses~!
When it comes to printer cartridges, regardless of laser or inkjet, it’s best to purchase new manufacturer brand cartridges. I’ve seen tooo many refurbs, refills, and discount brands over the years malfunction and tear up the printers. Saving a few bucks now isn’t worth the headache and repairs later.
If you are skilled enough to do some research on the Internet about Laserjet toner cartridge refills, then you may be pleased to learn that many Laserjet toner cartridges may be refilled using some latex gloves, a few hand tools and, perhaps, a good, canister-style vacuum cleaner (to suck up the older toner before and during the job). This could achieve your objectives of cost reduction and learning something new about toner cartridges. (I’ve been refilling toner cartridges for my office for about 17 years.) Best of luck.
