My hp slate 7 is not charging how do I know if the battery is working? Is there any test that I can make?

Steps for this:

  1. Hold power button to see if it powers on
  2. most devices tend to have enough battery to display an image or flashing LED
  3. Plug charger in and look for a coulered LED (Usually orange)
  4. if all of these fail, attempt a new charger

If battery is low, there should be a “battery charging” symbol in middle of screen while the charger is plugged in, displaying until the time the battery is charged.
