I bought the iPad Air Front Glass/Digitizer Touch Panel Full Assembly kit. The screen glass is shattered and the touch screen does not work. How do I know if I need to replace the LCD as well? I’m asking because when I was searching for the guide, I saw a separate guide for LCD replacement. Update (10/09/2018) Here is an image of my iPad. I’m just not sure what additional parts I now need to order if I have already bought the Front Glass/Digitizer Touch Panel Full Assembly kit assuming I also still need this kit.

LCD would need to be replaced as well if you see display artifacting on the screen such as: Horizontal or Vertical lines appearing on the screen.Black splotches on the screen.Ghosting effect on text / graphics on the display. If it looks fine then it’s just the digitizer touch screen glass needing replacement.
