Is it possible to kill this battery in less than 2 weeks? It looks like it is on its last legs. And I need a new keyboard. Some paint is already worn off on the S key. There is a month and a half left on my Applecare, but I’m leaving the country in a couple weeks. If I can kill the battery without voiding the warranty before then, I can get a new topcase for free. Please help!
Sadly Apple has a back log issue with MacBook batteries! Today they are stating “battery inventory is available in 15 business days” So you’ll be in trouble here as you most likely won’t get your system back in time for your trip ;-{
