I have a water damaged iPhone 6s plus and i’m trying to recover data from it. The programs that I use can’t access the hard drive because it won’t turn on. Can somebody please help me figure out how to jump start the logic board? Thanks

Don’t even think about powering on a water damaged iPhone if nothing has been done to it to clean the water damage out properly, it needs to be opened and cleaned of any liquid residue and water in the phone. You probably already tried charging the phone to turn it on, this in result just damages the phone (via shorting the board) even more to the point where it might not even be repairable. TL-DR: Get it fixed like Tom Chai said.

There is no such thing as jump starting the logic board, fix it.

Unfortunately, if it’s water damaged, there is a very high likelihood that the flash storage was shorted out beyond recovery. Check to see if you have any backups anywhere, otherwise you’re out of luck unless you can convince apple to try, which is near impossible.
