Somehow I believe that something became stuck in my Macbook’s CD slot, and now it wont read disks. My warranty just ran out, and I really do not want to have to take it in and get it fixed. Is there a way I can open up the laptop and/or get into where I can see into the slot? Please help!!

were you able to get it taken care of? I think we have something stuck in there per a toddler as when i try to put a disk it i can feel some push back/not a smooth slide.. i wont try a disk cause im scared.. please let me know how you got it taken care of..thanks!
