Hi, Here’s a link that shows how to turn off Google Voice in an Android OS device.
Are you referring to the software keyboard? Try going to Settings > Language & Input > and choosing your default keyboard. Update (01/09/2019) So follow this link and install Swiftkey Keyboard. After installing, go to your app drawer and click on the Swiftkey icon and follow the instructions to set it to your default input method. That should fix it for you.
