We just bought a new Tuscon and the new car smell isn’t there . At least not like the new car smells Im used to with other cars we’ve purchased in the past . Air fresheners are touching it and when I turn on the air conditioner its even worse. It smells like the dollar store at the mall just after they get a shipment in from China. Kind of a burnt plastic glue smell. Any help would be greatly appreciated

The smell your smelling is a true new car smell . its a clash of glues ,epoxies, fresh paint with a touch of reducers and hardeners and if you have a leather interior , new leather. This car was probably made in South Korea and they don’t use Nu there . Nu is used on new cars in North America to cover the bad smells associated with a new car.
