I’m trying to take the back cover of the phone off but it seems to be stuck. I feel like if I force it, its going to break. Is the cover not suppose to come off?!
Yes, the cover is suppose to come off. There is a protective rubber adhesive between the cover and the hardware. I managed to slowly peal it apart, but warming the back of the phone to soften the adhesives is warranted.
This can be achieved by using an air blower that will soften the glue of the rubber sticker. Use the air blower carefully as it could be used excessively and cause damage on your device’s circuits.
Note that if you’re removing the leather back, you need to go down farther than just the leather. You have to pick up the plastic piece the leather is glued onto.
