I have a dead MPB and would get my data from the hard disk. So i opened up my MBP (with the help of iFixit) so i can remove the HD. How do i get data of my HD? I do have an external drive (Lacie Little disk, in a black plastic hardcover, difficult to remove) I would like to connect the HD from MBP to the La Cie, is that possible? Does anyone have a better idea? Can not start up my MBP, even not in firewire mode…. (seems Logic board is not working, how can i be sure?) Thanks Robert

You should be able to install the drive you removed in your external drive and transfer your data to another computer. Ralph
