It has a problem with the SD Card Reader; the SD Card won’t stay in, the problem is that I don’t really have experience with fixing things. Should I fix it or get it taken in somewhere local to get it fixed?
Hi! The Nintendo DS series of consoles is usually pretty easy to repair yourself, so you should not bother sending it somewhere. Now for your problem: as far as I know the SD-Card slot on the 3DS is removable. All you need is a new reader. You should for a new one on a site like Aliexpress. Disassembling the console is easy. Just follow the steps all the way up to step 12 in this guide: Nintendo 3DS Teardown After that, do everything is reverse order and you are good to go.
