Hello friends, could someone give me some help on fixing or replacing my internal camera on my iMac? I had my keyboard fixed at a shop a while ago and then they broke the camera. I am trying to get some experience fixing my own stuff after discovering IFixIt and can’t find a guide for this particular fix. Any help is appreciated.
I would start off by inspecting the iSight cable connection, refer to Step 6 in this guide MacBook Air 11" Early 2014 Display Assembly Replacement and trace the cables pathway to the hinge is it damage in any way or not fully seated? Take some pics if you see anything amiss and post them here for us to see Adding images to an existing question
