Sorry if ive been asking to many questions. Now I would like to find out how to fix the wire that is disconnected to the power supply board i just discovered.
. sorry i dont know the trminology. Wait upon further review of the tv i found this also some kind of whiteweird stuff on the back of this board

MIKE MIKE In the first pic I see some bad capacitors, upper left corner you can only see a small part of the top but looks like something may be leaking on top and the lower middle left the capacitor looks to be bulging a bit . This will explain how to identify bad capacitors http://www.capacitorlab.com/visible-fail… As for the pics of the boards backside I would clean the board with IP alcohol 90+% solution to get ride of the what could be moisture damage or dust cant really tell from the pic. Do you live in a very humid area or was the TV exposed to water ,flood damage?After cleaning take another look for burn marks and bad solder points . Solder point can crack or brake when there’s a bad capacitor or is exposed to excessive heat. Hope this helps
