Hi, my phone screen got cracked at the top right, and the touch works fine even at the cracked portion, but recently I’ve noticed that the display turns black, and comes back after sometime when I’ve reboot it, and sometimes it turns black while I’m using it, and comes back on when I lock and unlock it, so do I have to replace the “touchpad” or the “touchpad with the lcd” too.
There are 3 main components for most touch screen devices: on top there is the glass, then the digitizer, and on the bottom is the LCD screen. In most cases it is easier to replace all 3 at the same time because when you to remove the glass, it is very easy to damage the digitizer and the LCD screen.
