I am not sure this is the repair guide for my laptop. Where can I find my laptop’s model number to make sure I’m on the right page?
The laptop must be off. With two fingers hold down both the Fn + Esc keys on the keyboard. Press the power button. This will give you a menu. Press F1 for System information.
If your laptop’s model number are not clearly labeled on the laptop itself, the simplest way to obtain the model number is to press the fn + esc keys on the keyboard. This command should open up the HP System Information window which will list the product number of your laptop.
Hey! sorry for the late response, but on the HP x360 laptops the model number is in REALLY small print on the back, not the back of the screen, but the bottom of the computer where it says “Made in taiwan” or “made in china” or whatever.
Just click on fn key and escape key at the same time
