I got a Second hand macbook air that used to be in a school for free yesterday I had to reinstall MacOS to get into macos the charger is second hand it powers up but does not charge I have no way to find the wattage as the charger is second hand I belive it is 45 watts in the macos system report it does not show wattage and the battery is on a faily low charge cycle Update (12/31/2020)

Does the LED on the Power Adapter turn orange or green? What does your wattage show under System Report? Is it just empty? System Report will also tell you if the battery is charging? What does that say? If you click on the battery icon in the Menu bar up top what does it say?Does it show a battery service error or anything?
