I checked out the test sheet for this device, and it refers to a service diagnostic test mode. Unfortunately, the given instructions (press any button in a 2-second-on, 2-second-off repeating pattern) don’t work for my dryer. How do I enter service diagnostic test mode on my dryer?
On my dryer, Model 110.94832201, the method for entering service diagnostic test mode is different: press the “more time” and “less time” buttons in an alternating sequence, completing four presses (2 of each) within 5 seconds. (This is a self-answer, but I’m hoping to save someone else some frustration and trawling through less-reputable repair sites.)
