My Sony Cybershot DSC-H70 lens shield (the shutters that protect the lens) don’t open all the way when I power on my camera, and don’t shut all the way when I turn it off due to having soda spilled on it. How do I fix it without having to spend a fortune to get it fixed, or buy a new one?

Those are very intricate and it may just be better to remove the whole lens and clean it with 92%+ isopropyl alcohol. Anyhow, here is the SM for your camera DSC-H70.
