I have a 1991Chevy pickup and the idle just started running high one day, continually. How do I adjust it?
indian, There are many things that can cause high idle on your trucks engine, dirty/sticking throttle body, cable/linkage, IAC idle air control motor, EGR valve faulty, vacuum lines/TB base gasket cracked/loose leaking, bad coolant temp sensor,etc. You should probably have a good technician have a look, check for trouble codes, diagnose and estimate repair.
