My IPhone 6 recently started to show only a blueish backlight when trying to turn it on, and even when it is simply set down onto the table. If im watching a video or listening to music it will continue to play audio but there is no display. The only way i have overcome this is by holding the power button and home button for 10 seconds untill it restarts the phone. I did get a screen replacement about 6 months ago, incase anyone i curious. (Im not very “fluent” with technical terms)
If you can see the bluish glow, the the backlight circuit is working properly. You’re problem appears to be image driven which means it’s either the screen or the LCD driver circuit on the logic board. The first thing to try is a replacement screen considering that it was replaced in the past and may not be at the same quality level as the original.
