In step 19 of the iPhone headjack repair guide I can’t get the screws out. I have successfully removed everything other than the screw right below tab 6, the vibrate button and the top screw holding in the volume up button. I’ve attempted to put a bit of white glue in there to no success.
if you have removed all the bits that are important (motherboard and battery) have you tried very small forceps/tweezers to twist them out,or levering up with a flathead screw driver to get over that crossthread? the only other option is to get the finest drill bit you have and drill the top of the screw off, then you can use the tweezers/forceps to unscrew it. it really doesn’t take a lot of pressure or time so just take it easy. option 2..buy a complete rear case with headphone jack already installed. bit pricey but to be honest this is my least favourite repair job
