plugged a iphone into my macbook pro that wouldnt turn on and i got the message in the picuture so i took it out and now none of my usb ports are working and its been 24hrs since it happened. i need to know if this can be fixed or is my logic board fried that simply and easily i hope its not i cant afford another computer at all. please help ive tried resetting smc without removing the battery but it doesnt work the headphones still work and the usb gives out power because i plug my midi keyboard in and the lights come on same thing for the external fan that keeps my computer cool.

I didn’t quite understand what has happened between the iphone and the mac, but I would certainly try zapping Pram (cmd+option+P+R on keyboard at restart until you hear second chime). If that doesn’t work I’d try creating a new user and see if the problem persists. Last, I’d reupdate the Os with a Usb stick or Dvd of the system currently in use. If none of these work it’s possibly a hardware failure
