I dropped my phone in the washing machine-got it out quickly-now it is making familiar noises but the screen went out. It is now in a bag of rice.-still responds when someone calls me. Can it be fixed? please

mary, just to clarify. Your phone is a Motorola Droid Turbo? First advise, skip the rice. It does not do anything but gives you a false sense of security. Second advise is to stop trying to turn your phone on or to sync it with your computer. That can make a bad situation worse Disassemble your phone, Use this video to help you with that. Then clean each and every part with 90%+ isopropyl alcohol. Do not forget the connectors on the board and the cable ends. While cleaning, check for obvious damaged parts. Once you have it properly cleaned, replace the battery and reassemble your phone. Then try to restart and evaluate for any further issues.

I put my (fresh water damaged) droid turbo in the sun on my car dashboard on a hot day for an hour, (it may take longer) it worked for 2 days and then started acting weird( saying no sim card, and not connecting to internet.) I put it on the dashboard again for an hour and prayed. Now it’s working fine again! Good Luck!
