I recently bought a lot of 3 iPhone 4’s on eBay. One boots and works good but it has a passcode and also has a iCloud account linked/ Find My Iphone is on.. How could I reset this iPhone without it becoming iCloud locked? it is on ios 7.1.2. Thanks!
Technically speaking, it’s already iCloud locked. I presume you don’t have access to the original owner so in that case the only way to remove iCloud is to replace the BB/NAND and EEPROM IC with a matched set that doesn’t have iCloud activated. Not sure it’s worthwhile financially to perform this repair on an iPhone 4, unless it’s for educational purposes.
