I have a gently used iPhone 7 Plus that I bought about 7 months ago. I’m always usually dropping my phone on accident. This time I didn’t have a case on it and when it dropped about 2 feet from my bathroom counter it fell face front onto the floor. The screen had cracked previously in February but the screen was responding as well as my Touch ID. There was just a few chips at the top right hand corner and a slanted crack through the middle. My Touch ID stopped to respond after awhile, but luckily I had the assistive touch home button. I put a privacy screen full-coverage edge onto the phone to prevent any other pieces of glass from falling out/protect the edges after . What should I do to fix the vertical lines on my phone though ?
You will need to replace the screen assembly. You can follow this guide if you want to do the repair yourself.
