Hey all, I have an AX7 and it has a pretty badly cracked screen, I was wondering if there are any tutorials on how to repair it because I have never disassembled a phone in my life and I’m afraid if I try now I’ll stuff something up Thanks in advance, Cody
Hi, Here’s a video that shows how to replace the display in the phone. Replacement display assemblies are available online. Just search for Oppo AX7 LCD, Touchscreen assembly to get results for suppliers that suit you. As you have never done one before, perhaps it may be better if you can get hold of an old broken phone and practice on it, before attempting the repair on your phone. That way you can develop your skills so that you don’t damage your phone more than it already is. If it all seems too daunting, contact a reputable, professional mobile phone repair service and ask for a quote to repair the phone.
