How can I remove lines on my screen? Am using iMac 5,1 17 2006 products, the lines are verticals and very thin and it keeps on multiply with different colours namely blue, yellow, and pink the lines merges to black any time I put on the pc for about five to ten minutes, the lines keeps remaining on the screen.
Connect the iMac to an external monitor to check if the problem is a graphic card problem or a LCD panel issue. A normal video signal on the external monitor would lead to a LCD display issue related to a bad LVDS cable or bad LCD panel.
