How can I open an Apple MagSafe 2 AC Adapter - 85W? The cord is partially pulled out and I want to open and re-attach to the circuit card.

Take rubbing alcohol let it seep in the cracks on the side real good use a metal spudger to pry it apart there is no clean break apart really but its possible to get it back together with glue afterwards it may not look great. It’s not easy it will take muscle. Be careful not cut yourself. You may be able to avoid cracking that open take a exacto knife heat the blade on gas stove or a lighter or heat gun get the tip hot then cut into the rubber on the wire out holder you can get to the spot you need to solder.
