I’ve found a 1987 talking Cabbage Patch Kid. I put batteries in it and the mouth moves but no voice. I’m guessing the 9V battery runs one system and the 4 AAs run the other. Does the 9V run the voice box? Any ideas on getting it to work again?
kathy yes, it does. You would have to disassemble it and take a look at the boards etc. Check for corrosion as well as other obviously damaged components.
