Hi guys, while changing my wifi antenna on my MacBook, I unfortunately jammed the camera cable under the hinge of the screen. After the third usage it was smelling a little bit for a few seconds but I did not think anything bad until I tried to use the camera - it did not work. The chip is black (see photo) and I have no idea how to fix this.

I already tried replacing the screen but it did not work out … What should I do? Thank you so much for answers!

You have to replace that small burned component (micro-soldering skills required). If you don’t have experience take it to a computer repair shop. Replacing that component will take 5 mins, and additional inspection looking for short circuit another 10 mins.
