Car keeps slipping and tends to Rev while driving and jerks.. How can I deal with this?
@gabe13 , Gabriel , As a first step check or have checked the transmission fluid level as this could be the issue. If fluid level OK, the car should be scanned for error/trouble codes that may lead directly to necessary repair(engine light does not have to be on for a fault to be stored in the computer). Some of the auto parts suppliers offer free code reading like Pepboys, Nappa, Advanced auto parts,etc and some of the guys are very knowledgeable and may have seen the issue often and put you on the right track. If for some reason the auto parts store could not read/retrieve transmission code, go to a good local tranny shop and have them diagnose and estimate repair. Good luck.
