I dropped my S7 and the only physicial damage that can be seen on the phone is a large crack on the back of the glass but the phone doesnt turn on or charge(the LED doesn’t light up) I connected it to my PC and it doesn’t detect my phone, is my phone repairable? If so what do I need to buy?
Hi @dx6 , Initially the phone will have to be opened and inspected to see if there is any obvious damage to the systemboard etc caused by the fall. Here’s a link to the ifixit Samsung Galaxy S7 Repair guide which may be of some help. If there is no obvious damage, e.g. cracks in the board, loose components or cable connections etc, board level testing is needed to further diagnose the problem. You may have to contact a reputable, professional mobile phone repair service and ask for a quote.
