Chosen Solution
The buttons are too deep inside of the phone. I can’t press them. Anyone know what the problem could be? I did exactly as in the video(s). And even re-checked everything that could’ve been wrong. Any guesses? (Same goes for the power button). ~wanted to make a picture but wouldn’t really help because it comes out too blurry.
You don’t really say what videos you are referring too so I’ll point you to a reputable repair guide here on iFixit. You also don’t say if this was the original problem or only after an attempted repair. The more information you provide, the more we can help you. Without having seen your phone nor the pictures, I believe it is an alignment issue between the actuator (the part that goes click) and the actual button. Go back through the guide (and this one) and get back to us with more details.
