So I dropped my iPhone 8 Plus into the pool whilst playing music and I immediately took it out and the phone turned off, it didnt turn on after the drop. I dried it and took it to a shop to get it cleaned up and they replaced the screen. They also mentioned that the water has damaged the logic board which caused the internal speaker to stop working. I don’t really enjoy calling with speakers on and headphones so is there a way to fix this issue? Should i replace the logic board ? Or is there an alternative way to fix this issue.
If your talking about the ear speaker (the one you use for calls) you can try replacing it, as well as the ribbon cable.
