I have just purchased a mid-2017 13in Touchpad Macbook Pro, and I want to connect what I think is a 27in Apple LED Cinema Display. It seems the adapters available are specific to either Mini-Display Ports versions, or Thunderbolt versions. I would like to make sure I get the right one. Has anyone any ideas?

on the bottom of the leg of your cinema display you have a serial number, with that you can make a Lookup on Everymac an see which Cinema display you have.
