Hello, I have a Nikon D7000 The dial (S, A, M, P, etc) has broken and only the axis remains. I can move it and change the function, but I would like to get the rest of the dial to see how it is and make a new dial with a 3d printer. But I have no idea if you have to open the camera or if the dial comes out with pressure.
@akilesroto , Mode dial/button removal, I posted a couple links below of tear downs on your camera which should show how to access the button for removal.
