Is there any way to do this? I read that you need to apply a nanopolymer internal coating. I can’t find anything online about how to do this yourself, only that you can pay shops to apply it for you. I’m going to reapply my back plate which is why I ask, and I know I will lose some water resistance. It’s a transparent backplate. I’m also looking to keep something inside of the back of the phone. Any cool suggestions?
I wouldn’t apply anything to the phone. If you put new adhesive on the back cover and do it correctly it shouldn’t leak but there is no way to verify that. Just make sure you remove all of the old adhesive and clean the surfaces well. After you press it on heat the edges with a heat gun or a blow dryer and press around the edge to make sure you get a good seal.
