Old computer and recently it got a thick line going across at the lower part of the screen.Is there a way to fix it?Is it actually the screens problem?
Almost certainly a problem with your screen and unlikely to be fixable. Squeezing the screen or bezel along the edges towards the bottom doesn’t make it any better or worse? You can get a replacement screen, but at a silly price. You best bet is to put a watch on eBay for one offered as for spares or repair and with a good screen. Swapping the screens shouldn’t be difficult.
