Chosen Solution
I have a Vizio M501d-A2 3D LED tv. Used it very little. Last used a couple weeks ago. Hasn’t been moved or damaged in any way. Turned it on yesterday and now there are blinking lines across the bottom 3 inches or so if the screen that change the picture from clear to out of focus and back again. Pics and video available. I have reset to factory, power cycled, checked all cables and connections, removed all connections, changed power cord and outlet. Remains the same. I am technically somewhat knowledgeable and have a multimeter. Anyone have any ideas? I hope I don’t have to trash it or spend a ton of money to fix it. Help!
Was hopeful to get some help on this but alas NADA. Sometimes going solo does work out. Answer:. Using tape, trial and error, blocked connections at the ribbons and viola. Fixed.
