I have a dell latitude e6430 and there is a line running from end to end on the screen. I think its stuck pixels. When the screen is white the line turns red and any other coulor the line is green. How can I fix this? (The line next to the queen playlist is just spotify.)
Just from the pictures I would say that there’s a problem with the LCD display itself. It is either a bad controller chip or the LCD element has pulled away from the contacts to the controller. I’m afraid it may not be repairable. Definitely check with Dell.
You have a TAB (tape automated bonding) failure on the LCD. Even if it comes back temporarily, you need a new LCD, like it or not. Refer to this video to replace the LCD.
