Chosen Solution
So I have this issue her right now. A customer came in with broken screen, changed the screen and homebutton was working fine no damage to the homebutton or anything.. after three weeks he came back, I replaced the screen and homebutton was working again.. now he came back again and the home button is not working anymore with “assisive touch” on screen. Anyone know what the issue is? Experienced it before?
Check the home button cable under a microscope. It could have a very small tear / scratch causing the home button to not work properly.
