My home button doesn’t work for no reason
What part of the Home Button is not working? The Home Button offers a TouchID function and a “Click”/Return function. If the TouchID is no longer functioning, it is not DIY repairable and requires that Apple replace the Home Button. If the problem is with the “click” function, this is repairable but requires a micro-soldering repair and is also not DIY. This usually happens following a screen replacement and is caused by the flex cable partially disconnecting from the IC on it’s surface. Unfortunately, you cannot replace the home button as it will be for cosmetic purposes only.
