So, a few months ago my iPad’s front screen was shattered, and also came off. I was very annoyed, and since I was in an agitated state, I peeled the middle section off, leaving glass on the inner edge of the screen. My father and I recently sat down with an iFixit replacement kit and repaired the screen. However, I could not recall where the previous home button was, but I am just going to use guided access until then. I wondering what needed replacing, where I’d get the part(s), and if I need to buy adhesive and open the screen again. (I currently have a piece of foam taped over the empty spot, just to keep it covered.
