I have been using the same screen to test different phones and now the home button won’t work any more. Is there any solution?
Are you using the original home button? A different home button does not work at all anymore, the clicking part and Touch ID.
Replacement home buttons on the 7 and 7 plus should theoretically work (the hardware is there) but it needs to be programmed by Apple and therefore will not work and also since it’s a trounce sensitive button and no longer moves the button function is linked to Touch ID rendering the button useless unless Apple can program it but they require a full screen replacement in order to do it.
