Hello everyone, I have a problem with my iphone 5S. I replaced the battery, but after ascending all correctly, the home button is not working, while the touch id is ok. I re-disassembled and reassembled several times and check that all sheets are properly connected, but the problem persists. If someone could please help me :( Thank you
Try disconnecting the cable to the home button, disconnecting the battery, re-connecting the battery, then reconnecting the home button cable again. It’s possible. But also more likely that you’ve damaged something. You could also try replacing the lightning dock. But, it is also possible that you’ve damaged the home button, somewhere. If that’s the case, you’re in a pickle. You basically can have one without the other. Either the Touch ID without the home button, or replace the button and have the home button without the Touch ID. Kinda don’t think it’s that though
