I recently purchased a replacement screen for my iphone 6s. After putting back all the parts, I noticed that the home button would always be pressed. I isolated the issue to the metal bracket which is behind the home button and bent it away from the button slightly as recommended in another thread. I even loosed the screws which hold the bracket down. Unfortunately, the button seems to still be depressed once I tighten the pentalobe screws on the bottom of the phone. Was there a change to the ifixit screen which adjusted the spacing? What other options can I try?
i would contact the warranty team. doing between 10-15 iphone screens a day, i have noticed a couple screens a week come in and do this. i send them back through my supplier for their warranty, and they replace them within the week. its usually just an issue with the milling.
