Hello, I fixed iPhone and one iPhone came up. The client brought me an iPhone 6s to get his battery replaced, so I did. When the assembly was successful, I put the screen back power it up and it said that the Touch ID couldn’t be activate. Neither the Touch ID nor the home button wasn’t working. I own a 6s plus so what I did was I switch the button from the 6s to the 6s plus. When I power my iPhone 6s Plus, it says the ss thing that the id couldn’t be activated, which I get because every phone has its own code but the button was working tho. When I power the 6s the home button off my phone wasn’t working. What could it be? Did I damage the screen? Because the home button off his phone works perfect to mine? I ordered a screen replacement but I just need to know if it’s the screen or…? thank you!

If your customers Home Button works on your phone, then the issue isn’t with the Home Button. It may be the HB Link Flex that runs underneath the backlight; check it for damage. It’s not really replaceable so you will need a new screen.
