Hi, I have just replaced my battery in 5S and home button does not work, but Touch ID works fine as usual. I found that it may be broken FL5 on the motherboard and i’m not sure if mine is on its place. Here is the picture

If you pryed the battery against the logic board with a tool then it’s most likely it has been damaged.
Hello Maybe the cable home button is not push it down correctly otherwise you can use from settings +general +accessibility+Assistive touch Is just to remplace the home button Good luck
