My home button disabled after a battery replacement, with the error message “Unable to activate Touch ID” displayed. The phone functions after entering the passcode, however home button still disabled. Please help me to help you come up with the fix. Thanks, Chris
It’s possible that the Home Button connector is improperly seated or you may have damaged the Home Button flex or its connector while replacing the battery. You should read through this guide to double check your work.
