Originally NFC on the phone didn’t work, so after crawling the answer forums here somebody said to try and tighten the standoff screw by the front camera, so I did that, and now, the home button and NFC don’t work. Have I permanently broke something or is this a simple fix?
I doubt you have damaged the board by tightening the standoff screw as this one goes through the board into the housing so no damage to the board should have occurred. As for your home button not working you have most likely torn the home button flex cable. Have a close look where the bend is sometimes the tear is tiny and hard to see without some sort of magnification. As for your NFC problem I would purchase a NFC camera clip and the Wifi/Bluetooth Signal Antenna Flex Ribbon.
